Holy Pontypool! I was born in Peterborough, so I'm one of the few who knows where on earth that is. Went thru there may times on a short cut to the cottage as a kid. I would agree with Gro, it probably is the dist cap. I had that problem a couple of years back. However, one other thing you could che...

After they settled in I'd say about an inch and a half.

As you probably noticed if you checked out that link you should be able to get both for under 5 hundred bucks shipped to Vernon.

install is quite easy, minor tools, rent a coil compressor. You're set!

good luck!

No limitations in Canada to rim size that I am aware of. Provided the setup will pass a safety inspection if necessary.

cheers!

Camber kit Compatibility

Will a camber kit for an Escort or ZX2 work for an MX-3?

Thanks for the feedback.

Solo I picked up a set of Eibach Pro coils for the Ford ZX2 and a matching set of ZX2 s/r springs (Tokico) off a site for a performance shop in London Ont. He then sent them out here to Calgary for no extra charge. I installed them about 3 months ago now, the only mod being I had to dremmell out the...

Folks are still in Summerland, and thus some of my Mazda parts are too. I was down last week for long weekend festivit...

FS: Stock Muffler for 96 GS

I have the stock muffler for my 96 GS with about 50km on it, I changed it off the car 2 days after I bought it. It has the 2 chrome tips on it and has been stored in the basement since 96. No pipe, just the muffler. Nice stock piece for those who want originality. I have no specific price in mind. I...

Slow traffic keeping left epidemic!!! Is there a cure?

I've driven in most provinces in Canada, and at least 10 states as well and I find there to be quite the difference in how many cars keep right or move over from the left lane for faster traffic. In Toronto for example on the 401, if you fail to move over for faster traffic be prepared to face at le...

  Whoa! I'm betting that she spends very little time in an igloo and I'm guessing she doesn't drive a dogsled either. Certainly a diet of whale blubber would not keep that body in that shape very long. And, finally, I think we'd all agree that a snowsuit covering that would be a damn s...

Warm beer in Canada is like bad sushi in Japan. Anyone who tried to serve a true hockey loving Canadian patron a warm beer will get their touque slapped off their head and be smacked upside the face with either a slab of backbacon or a cod (if they are from Newfoundland). Due to its higher alc...

Further comments on OBD2 KLZE conversions would be welcome as I am considering the same thing on my 96 GS. Links too please.

Thanks for the feedback!

Speaker "kickplates". Ideas?

I'm wondering if anyone has done any kickplate designs that have worked well in the MX3. Pictures would be great. Measurements of kickplates and speakers used would be helpful.

Thanks for the feedback.

Been using Syntec since the car was new. Never heard any feedback like that. Have been asked why I use the 5-50 though. Always have, no probs. Tell the mechanic you hope he likes singing soprano. Then reenact that Van Damme move where you drop down into the splits and give him an open palm shot righ...
