Umm...the open hatch thing is just garbage. It's probably fed off the fact that our cars, as with all hatchbacks, can get "easy" volume because of the hatchback air volume - more air moving = more sound. Opening the hatch means you'll lose that 'bounce'...but you're not going to wreck any ...

Going with Hankook H405 Ventus rubber - 205/40R17 on 17x7 MR7 in chrome finish. The 17x7 are in, but my car is in the paint booth. The tire shop says they'll work, but I can't test that until two days before Powerama, so that's not leaving me the wiggle room that I need in case of an "oops"...

Topped out the speedometer - the trailing car (my dad in his Porsche ) said I was going 243 km/h or so.

Undercover cars have flashing lights, usually hidden in the grill - but requiring them to be a certain colour or have some sort of badging on them is too stupid to be real. How much of a ghost car would they be then? :p

Pretty tough to prove they were following you, and not just driving along. Also - to be pulled over, your 'friend' had to do something...so what was it?

Hmmm...wired them up the first time and my dims had what should be the bright lits on - that's assuming the larger inner bulbs are the brights, of course. The lights I have are four bulb - with a large inner, a smaller beside it and two small stacked ones (that are currently not hooked in, awaiting ...
