fidanza's aluminum is a 9lbs'er... Now...i'm still getting anoyed by the compatibility .... I KNOW THIS: Miata 1.6 & 1.8 , protege 1.8, MX-3 1.6L DOHC ALL have the same Crankshaft bolt pattern..... NOW which cars have the same pressureplate bolt pattern?...Obviously matching a flywheel and press...

yeh this will be a street car...it gets driven like a track car on a daily basis though... My reasoning behind relaceing the flywheel isn't so much weightloss as the current flywheel is REAlly heavy... and it's been running against a glazed clutch for like 8k...i just want a new one and figure a spe...

My final clutch question

so i'm going to be ordering this stuff next week... From what Boris has done this sounds about right... Centerforce,ACT or Fidanza flywheel for a Miata -ACT pressureplate and an ACT clutch for a MX-3... Is there Anything better?? Without swapping my tranny for a G series... I was hoping for Miata al...

i took my from hub to a garage to have the brake rotor taken off and the bearing pressed out...

i watched him use a 20ton press to pop the rotor off which sounded like a gun.. then he pressed out the bearing...

took 1/2 and i paid 20bux and a coffee...

when i first aught my car they were BADDd.. no real chips, but they had alooot of scratches...I also didn't like the little thingys that stick off the light(although i assume they're for aiming)... I snipped off the nipples with some cutters sanded then flush with 100 then went up the stages from 40...

It's cast aluminum...you'd never know what the alloys were..but it could've been welded and retapped...
