Best thing to do is do a search on your cities website for the municipal codes. I've heard that you can be cited for modified intake, exhaust, headlights/taillights and suspensions, but that usually they only ding you for those if you're caught racing or driving wrecklessly. If you play nice I would...

That looks like a full kit for the escort. To m, it doesn't look like it would fit. If you are looking for the full kit, it's been said many a time on here that the SOHC one on ebay will work just fine, but it isn't k&n so you would have to buy a true k&n filter if you don't want the one tha...

I've thought about it, but it would be a huge cut and mold problem with how the new mustang lights wrap around the fender and everything. I think it would look sick, especially with some of the projectors they have available.

Congrats on the post mile stone!

My 95 RS hits 116mph. Still about 1k before redline, so I guess it was a govenor, but it didn't "wa wa wa wa" as someone described the fuel cut. It just buzzed right alone at 116.

That adapter plate isn't compatable with a DOHC 1.6. You can just get a cone filter from pepboys or something. Put it on your maf like the pic there shows. You do not need an adapter, just pull off the little rubber ring that is left on there after unhooking from your stock air box. PM me if you nee...

Education isn't everything...

I got this thing in my email. I deleted it, so I no longer have the sources, but if you wanted to find it on your own you probably could lol... Something like 80-90% of kindergarden aged children were able to solve this riddle, compared to only 17% of Harvard and Stanford type graduates. It is more ...

Use the same kind of oil that was used in your last oil change. If you don't remember or don't know, I would just change all the oil anyway. I would hate to have you add one type of oil when it's already running something different. Get it changed at a shop you trust. The online manual reccomends ju...

For the fluttering, check your exhaust for loose components. My heat shield around the cat is making a nice rattle, but I haven't taken the time to get under there and pull it off. Your brake pads and shoes have small bands of metal burried within them. When the pad wears down to an unacceptable lev...

I got the ebay shifter too... not the best part but it works lol... For your loose problem: Take washers and start slippin them between the fork and the bottom of the shifter. They won't fit the best, but no one will ever see them so it's not a huge deal in my opinion (Haven't tried the SRD bushings...

Idle Speed Control Valve. On cold mornings it acts like a choke, and it also helps your motor run the accessories (power steering, alternator under load, a/c) by rasing your idle to compensate for the random amounts of hp they drain. I've got the same problem from what it sounds like, but haven't tr...
