1) Sounds exactly like the problem I had when I installed my short shifter. It would wobble around in gear, but never fall out. It would rattle real bad too... even when I had my hand on it I could hear and feel the rattle. Mine ended up being where the bottom of the short shifter attatched to the l...

Holy crap! I didn't realize you had the DOHC... in that case start stealing parts from the 90-93 miata and 323 GTX. Your DOHC is the B6-DE, the miata is the B6ZE and the 323 is the B6T... all B6 motors have a lot of parts that swap back and forth. Cams from the miata... turbo manifold and tu...

The clock in the instrument cluster.
Hey, I got the cluster out and infront of me right now, replacing the clear cover for one that isn't all messed up. I have searched on here for a way to change the clocks color to match the indigo guages I have installed and peeople say that you just pull off the yellow behind the tinted piece b/c t...

Most people don't even bother with the SOHC... 88HP not a very appealing base. But more power to you b/c I'm trying to stay away from motor swaps with my DOHC. I have heard there is a turbo kit for the SOHC... but it's almost 2 grand... do a couple of searches on here and you might find it. They mak...

Hey I have a copy of PASMAG that had a Miata with the 5.0 Mustang motor in it. Besides a whole lot of fabrication, a custom bent hood and flipping the exhaust manifolds around so they faced forward to meet clearance, it worked great.... If I wanted a big fuel inefficent monster, I would definatly st...

That was my other alternative. The place I usually go to for my stickers and banners quoted me $80 bucks though. Usually they charge $40 for windshield banners, but because the back area is so wide, they wanted double the price b/c they had to used the wider material. I wanted it to go all the way t...

I have noticed what you say about the rubber hangers being too soft... I got a cat back exhaust done, and noticed it seemed to move. Sometimes it's fine, but other times the hanger they put on my muffler will rattle against my rear passenger tow hook. When it rattles, the hanger is right up against ...

I would only use the B6T cams if you are going to eventually turbocharge the engine. For a n/a car, I would just run the B6ZE Miata cams. There was a website on here someone posted that had a couple different sets with different lift and duration. They were only like $565 I think (same idea of swapp...

Yeah, do a couple of searches from the tool bar and you will find that the majority of your questions have been answered a hundred times. Lots of stuff on the forum archives. But to directly answer your question about where your car stands against others... yeah with a 92 RS with the SOHC I'm gonna ...

I origionaly considered trying out a regular flat black paint, after lightly sanding and priming the area. But my concern became color matching. It would be barely noticable, but the black dots could be a slightly different color. I haven't persued it much though... trying to use it as a last resort...
