The RS alternator is rated at 65-70 amps. The GS is rated at 90 amps. Almost everyone who I have seen with this mod done on an RS says they don't have a problem with their lights dimming when pressing on the brake or turning up the heater.

I've seen a lot of people tap into their cigarette lighter plug wires.

I origionaly considered trying out a regular flat black paint, after lightly sanding and priming the area. But my concern became color matching. It would be barely noticable, but the black dots could be a slightly different color. I haven't persued it much though... trying to use it as a last resort...
