Dont know what year you have but if you have a cable driven speedomiter check to make sure that your drive gear didnt fall off in the tranny thats what happend to mine had to fish it out with a magnet on a string... hope you get it fixed

it doesnt matter how its broken you have 3 options you can clamp onto whats left with a pair of vice grips as hard as you can and in one swift move try to get it to turn. or you can drill into the center of it and get a reverse thread kit from an auto parts store and back it out that way. or the las...

according to the faq you can put a throttle body from an automatic into a car with a manual but you have to change the tps sensor... what is involved in changing a tps sensor from a 4pin automatic to a 3pin manual tps sensor?

technically speaking the best tranny you can get is a protege lx tranny has shorter gear ratios so it accellerates faster not to mention it stronger...

a chevy would normaly stomp on you or me for that matter i have the same engine but an astro van has no acceleration they are passenger vehicles geared for fule economy so as long as you know how to shift you will stomp all over him... :D let us know what happens

if you lived around here you wouldnt think that was a very good idea the people that work at our part stores are usually kids in highschool that only know what the computer tells them hell they screw it up when im getting direct replacement parts :roll:
