:( that is a shame indeed, looks like you had a really nice car there! not my fave colour, but leather interior etc - looked mint. damn nice side skirts too ;) sucks that its all gone now, they wont make them like this ever again, to be honest... cars are all focused on emissions, comfort and safety...

I think it basically changes the overall length of the intake, keeping the air at a "resonant" state.. which basically means, you get more air flying through the air-in valves for more of the rev range = broader, more availble power band.

mine as i recall has no release for it??? It just has pop clips it pushes into!!! :shrug: yup, couldn't find any slider thing on mine.. http://www.snellgrove.co.uk/files/no_rear_seats.jpg you can see one of the releases, bottom right of the pic there, the white thing... the seat litereally just pop...
