as far as im aware... -and this goes for all cars these days, unless theres some exceptions! the answer is No just turn the key, -get your headunit fascia in, turned on.. or whatever, or scrape the screen and drive off.. thats fine. I give mine a few seconds, just in case... lets any warning lights ...

My mate was thrashing his Celica GT the other day, I was filming it.. (big big to upload.. 42mb) and he was doing over 100mph in 3rd gear, coming up for the redline.. changed into 4th, and the fuel light comes on... oh dear! :lol: very thirsty.. a few minutes later, of much gentler driving.. the fue...

ahh, but the buttons have LEDs 8) the one selected, at the top lights up..

Windscreen and Recirculation is orange, rest are green :lol: hmm, possible mod... BLUE LEDs!!! :roll: :lol:

I'm still peeved that I dont have a fuel-light.. silly Mazda! :(

aye, its one of those silly 130bhp powerplants possibly it is the accelerator cable.. I'll give it a lubrication sometime and see if that helps, going to try driving to college tomorrow with only my socks on, no shoes! :lol: should be interesting, but it means I can feel the pedals 100% and read tha...

hmmm the Manual says it will run on 95 here, but more is never harmful.. its going to be beneficial if anything, with the ol' ignition advance.. my car does seem a bit faster with it, overtaking power is certainly better :twisted:

bugger, mines got Optimax in it now, and a treatment of Redex.. but its still bouncing like a b---- in 1st gear its better, but not gone completely.. things I most notice are: going on the throttle in 1st gear, with very minimal throttle input, the car jumps into life from no-throttle ..and races aw...

gah, mine doesn't have a fuel light either!!

silly mazda... they've changed stuff, like the heating controls (have to agree with Chadley, think they've improved them.. I like a big row of buttons rather than loads of sliders 8) ) but they've also made some stuff worse! :lol:
