thanks alot man, no wonder I had no clue what was going on. I got wires for the 2.5L probe, I assumed they'd also work. I thought they were similiar engines? how come the probe engine doesn't have the rod things on them anyway?

the black tube thing is about metal and about 10 cm long or so, goes down into the engine somewhere. I wish I knew more lol. Your probably right though, it might go over the sparkplug. I assume i'd have to transfer those things over to the new wires? Its hard to explain, but the old wires go into a ...

ok thanks, I was told these would work though.

I'm just wondering, what is the block tube type thing that is attached to one side of the wire? does this thing come off and you just attach it to the new wire and your done? I just really don't know. And the wires are pretty similiar.

Some help with changing the spark plug wires?

Well before attempting to do this i've never even touched an engine before really, so most of you would probably consider it a stupid question, but I really don't know. Ok im trying to change the spark plug wires, I pull one end out fine attached to the distributor i think, and I pull the other end ...

When it says KL01

I've been reading everything on this site for quite a few months now, well before I bought my mx-3, but I got a question. Everywhere I read the KL01 code seems related to a KLDE? Looking around in my engine bay, not really knowing much, on this little curvy black rod thing about 20-30 cm or so, by a...

ok so say I don't replace the gasket? How long do I have until the sparkplugs get too much oil and I get the same problem again? Is it something as simple as cleaning them off every once and a while? or even with the small leak, will the plugs be ok for a month or 2?

If you know of any sites (step by step pics preferred :) ) i'd appreciate if anyone would let me know. Other thing is where do I find these wires? ...

Few Problems

Well I recently bought an mx-3, but I guess theres a few things that need to be fixed, since the car wasn't starting. Problem is I don't wanna spend too much getting things fixed because in about a month or 2 im planning on getting a klze installed. I guess theres some oil leak which is causing oil ...
