I dont know where you got your info, but a capacitor is not useless. They work very well for their intended purpose. And that is to hold a load of power so when the amp draws it out it dosent kill your altenator and battery. As long as you know what the specs mean and and which one you need they wo...

Small problem, fishing for a wire

To get my Starter/alarm to work properly, I needed to fix the switches on the doors that control the interior lights going on and off. This is obviously an easy task, and the passengers door was. But when I unscrewed the one on the drivers door, the wire wasn't even attached. The hole isn't too big,...

Just wanna confirm before I go ahead and buy this. It seems fairly cheap for a complete gasket set. I'd rather pay a bit more than have to phone around mazda/ford/whoever. Located at http://www.autopartsgiant.com Part# 09-01165 [Full Gasket Set] CR 9.2:1 75mm K8 24V Eng; DOHC; GS Plz correct me if i...

Gasket Kits?

I asked a while back in another thread about the required gaskets and such for a ZE swap. Just from reading im pretty sure the gaskets are the same on all the k series engines. I came across this gasket kit? I've never really heard anyone talk about kits before though, which is why im asking. The si...

thanks for the help guys. I'll probably go ahead and replace most of the gaskets, i'd rather not have to figure out how to do it myself later. Any clue what kinda money im looking at for gaskets? for the 2 intake manifold gaskets and the 2 valve cover gaskets it cost me $110 CAD. Also get some gask...

ok after looking around I don't need to know where to buy these parts. But being unfamiliar with engines in general, and not being able to find an exact list anywhere, could anyone give me a list of all the exact parts? In past posts everyones kinda just thrown in gaskets/belts, at the end of the pa...

thanks alot guys. I know its easy to find stuff like the fidanza, clutches and all that online, but is there somewhere I can buy waterpumps, gaskets and all that? If not, any recommendations on where to get the needed parts? i'd assume it would be quite expensive right from the dealer. Im in Canada ...

All the ZE swap extras?

I'm at the point im ready to buy a ZE. I've been reading around and everyone suggests replacing the water pump, belts/hoses and gaskets. Now where exactly can I find all of these necessary parts? and for a decent price? I'll be getting the ze, flywheel, clutch, headers. Once I get a hold of the misc...

any other ideas? or is it just because of the coolant leak?

The idle seems to be even worse now, generally 2-2.5k during the 1st 10 or so minutes the cars running. The fluctuating between 1-1.5k is REALLY annoying. Why would it rev itself like this?
