Re: A little 1.8L FYI
Cool, But trust me theres a diffeace in the two motors. I've been working on cars long enough to know whats up. The engine works paid for already, the mechanics not asking for more money, just to get the car out of his garage. So no signs of a scam.

A little 1.8L FYI
I'm not to sure this is exactly accurate but their were two kinds of 1.8L V6's. The differance i found out from the machanics, their were two types of engine made for the 93 MX-3 one was called the Rocket Baby V6(like most of us have) and the other was called the MRX (like my old blown one). Their w...

Re: Can my buddies MX-3 GS take my car??
My experiance with the caviler (a rental) is that it has bad gearing for raceing. I have a friend with Ithink its a 96 Z24 well modded and he ran neck and neck with me. Beat me by about a foot on the track. But then again he's got some deacent mods, mostly home made.

Re: My web site
I had a friend bore my engine out, and do a few more things. As soon as I get the Heads from Doug, I their gonna get machined too. It will be in the MODS section as soon as its up.
I thought it a 'lil improper to call it a GS-R cuz its not the 2.5L but only 2.2L so I just added a R to the end of ...

For some reason my garnish gasket was like 8inches smaller then my spoiler gasket so I used black silicone. But other than that the bolts mached up perfect.

Re: What can i get out of the 1.8L V6?
Well, I've heard of some guys gett'n around a flat 16 stock. Mods for a 1.8L are few and far. But now for the lighter side a engine swap isn't too expensive, most peolpe get it done for around $1200. But the best thing is the shock factor of not to many people Know much about them, so you'll not be ...

Re: Civic v.s. Mx-3
Actually sonic is right,
About the type-R, thats just my experiances with them.... I'm not really impressed. But then again i was racing my Drag strip Formula 350 agenst them. And the very few I've raced with my old MX-3 GSSE (they were all low to mid '90s at the time) I was neck to neck unmodifi...

Re: Civic v.s. Mx-3
Civics stock aren't that tough... just annoying.... one for one then MX-3 is faster. Type-R's are up to par with the MX-3 GS. but if its an auto its not.
