Re: Recommended struts and stabil links

If ya wanna freshen your springs, here's a complete set from a 90K MX-3 for good price fwiw. You never mentioned how many miles were on your current stock suspension.

Re: Recommended struts and stabil links

How many miles on the suspension system? High miles, like 150K or more means probably a good idea to replace the springs and the struts together, although not mandatory. You'll need a spring compressor tool. Info on that is in this post. http://mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=56416&hili...

Re: And Another Overheating Problem

I've noticed a lot of posts on here about overheating but there's always something different in each case. I have a 1994 Mazda Mx-3 that is overheating. There is antifreeze leaking from somewhere. its not from the two radiator hoses that go to the engine but from something else. My heater core is p...

Re: need some help with a ruff in

Hmmm... trying to picture your setup from your description. For tapping in, I'd cut out a section of the 4" waste pipe and replace the removed section with an equal length 4" dia. sleeve T-fitting that has a 2" pipe stub on the "T" end. Then connect your 2" drain pipe a...

Re: Cross Floor Carbon Fiber Strut Bar

I put one in my 95 RS a few yrs back when pulling rear seats permanently. Stainless model, looks just like the one on ebay. Mine was sold under the BOMZ name and was ~$80 USD cuz they weren't available from as many sources. Was able to adjust bar to fit MX's floor width. Installed on the lower seatb...

Re: TRUE Beginner Questions

I find it quite annoying sometimes when people go on and on spouting all kinds of mechanical jargon that a TRUE beginner would never know, myself included. I've been prowling this site for more than a year, and I still find myself only maybe 15% more proficient when it comes to possibly doing a swa...

Is anyone else in the U.S.A. worried about this bill? Its puts a real fear in me. Thought crimes what are we coming to? Hadn't heard about this before so I read the bill -it's very short. No real fear here (yet) cuz it appears to simply authorize a commission to generate 2 interim 6 mos. reports an...

Re: Another overheating problem!

If the temp gauge is acting erratic, most likely a simple thermostat change that is needed. That up and down gauge reading usually indicates the thermostat is wearing out. $10 part, no more than a 30 minute job. If it's not a gauge-reading-issue but the Q. is about the air coming from the cabin heat...
