they dont actually put out that much voltage. they are CAPABLE of puting out that much. the spark voltage is only around 10-15kV. you really have no use for a more capable coil. unless you're running MSD. no jdm ecu has OBD of any kind...thats an north american thing if it is pulling codes he scammed you You may also not have the harness hooked up correctly, I believe there is a mismatch with the harness and the hookups which causes a CEL light, easily fixed but you SHOULD not be able to get a code ...

30000 volts. You can upgrade to one such as the blaster 2 which puts out, 15000 more volts? I think its around 45000. But the stock is 30,000 volts im damn well sure. :lol:
