I've posted on this topic before. If you are looking from the front of your car the places you need to tap into for your senders are on the passenger side of the car. Your water temp sender would be located on your filler neck right near the filler cap. you will see two plugs connected to the neck. ...

Hei/msd coil mod problems
:confused2: So I followed the instructions to a t and I also had some guidance from a few of you guys while doing it. I still have problems. The car idles all over the place. If the car idles high i.e. 1500-2000rpm, it's nice and smooth. But it shouldn't be that high. If it drops down to a normal rp...

Thank you forrest, that helps a lot. i've got most of the work done now and just have to wire that coil up to the disty cap and gut the coil and post. I figured all that had to be done was have the screw touching the metal thru the cap and shave down those prongs to fit it to the cap. I just didn't ...

Quick question for Gro or anyone else with external coil
I'm trying to do the external coil/hei mod and when mounting the power tower i'm a little confused. In the tutorial you say you drilled the hole deep enough to bury the screw then covered it with rtv sealant. How large of a hole did you drill. The power tower has one long screw with an exposed wirey...

Yeah, the stock exhaust from the 1.8 is too restrictive. I drove my car with the ze and a stock exhaust and it was a huge difference over the 1.8. Once I changed the exhaust there was a noticable difference with how the car pulled. You can get away with the stock exhaust but you'll notice the differ...

I've used 2.25 piping on my car from the headers back. I have a test pipe in place of the catalytic converter and the rear section is a Greddy SP1 from a 95 civic hatch. The car is loud without the cat but it's not bad. It sounds awesome with this set up and gets a lot of thumbs up when people hear ...

Thanks for the info reprobation. I ordered the spray paint tonight. Got tired of seeing the skirts laying around so I installed them last week. Now I was tired of looking at them flat black so the paint is one it's way. There is a couple pics up on my myspace of the sideskirts as they are now as wel...

The site has been updated. I polished and waxed the car, with pics of the new rims and testfitting the mazdaspeed sideskirts. Take a look and leave some comments, would love to know what everyone thinks. ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Thanks guys.. I drove around today to see what I could find while i got some fiberglass to repair the skirts. Unfortunately you are absolutely correct dj. Seems as if the z1 code has been the forgotten color. Dupont carries almost every other color in a spraycan. Thanks aries, I saw that link on one...

What stores might have spray paint in Z1 code??
Like the topic says, I'm trying to find a place in New Jersey (e.g. Pepboys, Autozone, Napa, Advance) that might have a spray paint in Z1 color code. Has anyone looked for this code in the stores? I just got some Mazdaspeed Sideskirts and I need to prep and paint (they're a little beat up). Was hopi...

Andy, do you have pics of your set up? I tried the thread you had going with Rick about the tw motorsport pipes. On there you had a link to Probetalk. For some reason everytime I click that link I cannot access the forum. I am a new member to PT and I might have some sort of restriction I guess. Thi...
