Re: trying to find control arm bushings

The bushings in the rear lateral links and trailing arms are not available separately from the factory. You can still get replacement lateral links and trailing arms from Mazda with new bushings in them last I checked.

Re: kulluminati777's Big Brake Bananza

Can you take a picture of the bracket and how it attaches to the stock spindle with the caliper attached. Like the pic you have but no rotor so I can see the bracket. That would be really helpful.

Re: Wytbishop - 93' GS SE ZE - The Purple..I mean Black.. Be

Yeah...I didn't actually try. I live on the fourth floor...in another city. On another note...Kulluminati's big brake set up has me thinking that would be a great option for the Black Beast when the time comes so I sent them an email. They already have a bolt on option for the BA chassis 323 (which ...

Yep it's in my folks back yard under a tarp until my wife and I buy a house later this year. Our condo doesn't have a garage and it won't fit in the spare room.

Re: Wytbishop - 93' GS SE ZE - The Purple..I mean Black.. Be

No real updates. For the last while I've just been driving it. The body is truly in poor shape now and planning has begun for the recreation of the Black Beast. In the next few months I will be picking up something newer to become my daily driver and the beast will come off the road. Once I have the...

Re: Wytbishop - 93' GS SE ZE - The Purple..I mean Black.. Be

You should ask Mark (Mooneggs) he has spacers under his manifold and has used many strut tower bars over the years. I think I recall him talking about straight neck manifolds at one point as well.

I've never installed one in any of my cars so I have no idea what the clearance will be like.

Re: RTM Racing

The financial facts are that there just aren't enough MX-3's in existance, let alone in North America, let alone with owners with actual liquid funds for a guy like that to have a hope of making money from anything but the absolute simplest product imaginable. The fact is that we are dinosaurs in th...

Re: Marc's Sooty 2.0 - Autozam AZ-3 1.5 DOHC

take the tube from a can of WD40 and put it in your primer nozzle. Get inside the opening with it and spray the back side of those welds as best you can. The rust will come through quickly from the back of the welds if you don't seal it. Looks like you're better at welding sheet metal than I am. Wel...

Re: MrMazda92's '92 GS - Questions about rear suspension

Don't beat yourself up. Those spindles were new and the last new pair in existance as far as my parts guy could tell. he found them in Ontario. It was never clear to me exactly how he handled the longer bushing on the back of the spindle. Based on his description it seems like he left the exposed pa...

Re: MrMazda92's '92 GS - Questions about rear suspension

A few posts before this post you'll see a pic of the test fit I did with my prototype busing set. The bushing you're referring to is unlike the others. If the ES bushing doesn't look like this (I'm not sure what part number you bought) it won't work the same way. That bushing is essential to the pas...

Buy new e-brake cables if you can. They're not that expensive and it really is worth it.
