Re: Anti-Drop Bracket help

The correct answer is to avoid the use of the anti drop bracket altogether.

The shifter mechanism is a two part system. The Shift Rod and the Stabilizer Bar. The stabilizer bar is the part that needs to be replaced. You can get one out of any MX-3 or a 91-94' Protégé. $10 at any junkyard.

Re: Will these brake lines fit ?

To put this into perspective for you all. I recently changed companies and I now work for a company that manufactures a wide variety of flexible hoses including a Teflon core, stainless braided hose that would be used for brake lines. This is the real deal, super high quality stuff that we supply to...

It's a sports car, not a race car. 40lbs is worth every ounce to be cool...specially if you drive a black car.

Re: rpm drop/radio turns on and off

I'd say its about 90% you have a short in the charging system. Recheck all the wiring you did on the alternator.

Re: need help after valve cover replacement

Fuel Fire Timing if you have all three it will run. Fuel can be messed up if the air is not being metered properly. As others have said make sure there are no leaks into the intake after the air flow meter and make sure it is plugged in. If the fuel lines are backwards the fuel cut is triggered beca...

Re: Another GS SE - #3 - Aquired 4/28/2013

I was told that my leather shift knob was the last one in North America 3 years ago. My local dealer found it at a dealer down south. I think they say those things so that we'll be happy to pay so much for them.

Re: Brake lines that are stuck

Called a flare nut wrench here.

Heating the distribution block that they are screwed into will help.

Why haven't I heard this previously? Would have been simpler than modifying Probe spindles...
Only the actual Lantis and 323F 2.0L had the super spindles...and we didn't get either one.

No your reverse light won't work and no, the auto is different. IF that's what it is. I'm guessing without a picture of the sensor.

Re: Changing a clutch

That's probably the reverse sensor. Its a two wire sensor that screws into the bottom of the tranny. If it broke off right at the sensor your best bet is to hit a junk yard and pull a sensor off any mx-3 gs or any 93-97 v6 Ford probe tranny. The reverse sensor from a 93-97 mx-6/626 v6 tranny is diff...

Re: Trailing arm

When I did my suspension a couple years ago I managed to get one off OK but the driver side bolt had to be cut. I was able to get in there with an angle grinder and a 4" zip disk and cut the nut end. Its no good cutting the bolt head off as you won't be able to get the bolt out the other side s...

Re: Trailing arm

You have to break the cage that holds the nut im the back side and move it aside so you can get a wrench on it. It's not easy. I used a hammer and a long cold chisel.
