Re: How to paint your car at home...quick tutorial.
How do you keep the dust down in such a small space without a downdraft?

Re: Almost new SE leather seats
Diezzzel and I had an important meeting of the minds this morning. I enjoy living in the same town as him. Where do people outside Edmonton get their MX-3 parts?

Re: Removing bushings from rear suspension?
I got new bolts for the rear at the dealer for $34 I think.
You cannot buy rear factory bushings separately. You have to buy the lateral links to get new bushings which if I recall came to about $380 a few years ago.

Re: Sealed, Deep Cycle AGM batteries
It usually hits -35 to -40 here at least once for a week or more each year. I'm pretty sure that's what has caused my problems. From now on at -20 I'll plug in the warmer.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had had similar problems with AGM batteries.
Thanks everyone.

Re: Sealed, Deep Cycle AGM batteries
I got a $25 battery warmer. This is likely the last winter my MX-3 will ever see, so I just have to nurse it to spring.
If it's not the cold...I don't know.![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Re: Sealed, Deep Cycle AGM batteries
Yeah it has to be an AGM battery because it's in the cabin with me and i don't want to die from lead-acid fumes. I was looking for a yellow top this time but they didn't have one on their shelf. I think the red top froze the other week when it dipped to -40ºC for a couple days and that it never prop...

Sealed, Deep Cycle AGM batteries
So here's a question for the masses... I have been running an Optima Red Top since I did my ZE swap coming on 4 years ago because I had to relocate the battery to the rear and I don't want a huge sealed box back there. Monster cranking power and I have left my lights on for hours accidentally and st...

Re: Cost from US to Canada
On a $1000 car it wouldn't be extremely expensive. Taxes and duty on a small purchase like that would be reasonable, but getting it here from places where they don't rust, i.e. Arizona, SoCal, which I assume is why you would want one from down there, is very expensive. Even if you can drive it home,...

Re: Robs '95 RS Charging system problems :/
I think the Champion reman was $320. If you get a discount and there's good warrenty I'd do NAPA. I had a brutal time getting any kind of warranty from Cooper auto electric.

Re: Robs '95 RS Charging system problems :/
Get a reman, but get it at Canadian Tire. 3 year warranty. I have replaced more than one on warranty there. It sucks that they crap out so much but I had a stock one rebuilt at a very well reputed auto electric shop here a couple years ago and it didn't last any longer.

Re: MegaSquirt for KLZE
Any time you stuff more air into the engine than could get in there on it's own, you will need a way to measure the air and add the correct amount of fuel. The stock ECU is limited to calculating fuel based on what goes through the VAF. Then, it is limited as to how much fuel it will dump based on i...

Re: MegaSquirt for KLZE
1. looking on http://www.stratifiedauto.com/ they have a MegaSquirt ECU standalone for Mazda mx-3 1.8v6 and Ford probe KLZE 2.5l v6 its plug N play, so my question is, if i was to buy one for my 94 mx3 KLZE is it just a matter of unplugging my wires from my ecu and just plugging them into the MegaS...
