Just noticed the BP comment... The BP swap after surprised me in that it did not feel as torquey as the 1.6 did. It did make more peak power, but it was just a different feel to the car.

The BP has a nicer cross-flow head, with some big ports with plenty of potential... I had plans for big turbo ...

Fuel on most imports these days, and many days ago, is cut under decelleration. Gas mileage should not be worse... some of my best gas mileage I ever got (50+mpg) was in the mountains from a combination of this and other benefits

I've seen some newer stockish Hondas get driven hard at the track ...

I do my dynoing with Reg at rcts. I think that having a dyno day on a weekend came up as a possibility before, but there were too many people strapped for cash.

If you are available on a weekday sometime, I should be able to get you a deal at Regs ...

1st bunch of runs were frustrating, 12mph faster than NA and almost the same ETs. Best run was on 4-5psi ...

the BP swap will leave tons of room to put in big intercooler, turbo and the rest. I imagine they are cheaper to pick up then a KLZE, cheaper to install, and adding turbos is simpler. Also capable of more than enough power to keep you happy.

Yeah the SCC wasn't very organized at all this year. Even the announcer in the tower didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I think out of the whole night, I won 2 races. The other 8 losses were against 12 - 14 second cars. I was very dissapointed in my car. My fastest time was 16.1 seconds ...

That sounds extremely gay... that isn't how it used to be done, or should be done. I wish I would have went down to see how it was unorganized myself.

Oh, I'm not sure if I'll be racing yet. I have to put in a better clutch by then if I'm going to race. The stock clutch is slipping anything over 7.5psi That and I think the rebuilt turbo needs another rebuild (smokey), and a few other things... whee.
