i havnt noticed the idle moving to much at a stop... it moves when i turn my steering wheel or hit the brake... but as for hunting... if it is, its gotta be so little i dont even notice... the pulsating vibration i'm getting is only at high speeds... kinda feels like the wheels need balanced... but ...

At around 120 km/hr i can feel a vibration through the car... it comes in pulses.like a second apart.. i had a mechanic look at it real quick for me and he said everthing seems tight.. guy at the tire place said he didnt think the wheels need to be balanced.... i'm really not sure wha it could be......

My mx-3 needs a new axle, but i will be doing a bp swap next winter... just wondering if its possible or worth while just swaping the protege axles now...? thanks

hhm.. so does this sound like a stupid idea? i'd rather not replace or rebuild this tranny if i'm just tearin it back out after summer.. any other sugestions?? i'd appreciate it..

thanks for your help, i'm gonna look around for a protege lx tranny to bolt up to my 1.6 dohc until i find time for the bp-t swap...

I planned a BPT swap for my car this winter but things didnt work out as planned... so i figure i'll wait til next winter so shes not off the road all summer tryin to find all the parts needed.. anyways my tranny is now fucked.. you can hear and feel it grinding when slowing down in and out of gear....

if you could do that i'd really appreciate it.. my tranny is fucked so my car is parked in my driveway right now... maybe til next summer..

well i am planning on a bpt and protege lx tranny swap this winter.. i dont really wanna put alot money into a tranny i'm gonna tear out.. so i think i'll buy somthin else to drive and start my swap early.. any info on the bpt swap would be helpful...

i took it to a mazda dealer..which i didnt wanna do.. but i didnt know anywhere in toronto... anyways they charged me $50 just to tell me it was internal problems.. but i dont trust a word they say..

first of all.. where is the standard transmission forum? anyways..i was driving through toronto the other day, and i was shifting from 1st to 2nd and i heard/felt somthing through my shifter.. i pulled over right away, but i couldnt figure out what was wrong.. i tried driving it back to my buddies p...

alright this is a little problem that has been bothering me for years... when my lights arnt turned on... its like out of nowhere they have a mind of thier own.. they will flicker on and off at random times..somtimes it doesnt do it for a week..somtimes a month... but they just go crazy on thier own...
