Re: what does it take to beat mustang gt

Well, here's the thing. the GT has 225HP and 290TQ, but it weighs around 3200lbs. The GS has 130HP and 115TQ. It weighs only 2500Lbs. Now, if you go by some people (I believe Vaughn has it on his website) and say that 100lbs of weight reduction frees up 1HP, then the GT should only lose 7HP to extra...

Re: turbo/supercharger

you guys HAVE to stop being a--holes to newbies. Me53, The price is going to be pretty close to the same with each setup depending on the products you use. Usually, the turbo will be cheaper because parts are easier to come by and easier to customize. The Turbo will be more efficient (meaning the ca...

Re: WTB: door skins for cfiber doors

My bad about the incorrect term. I knew what you meant, I just typed it incorrectly. Second, I have never seen a civic with carbon fiber door skins either. I'm just saying that using carbon fiber for aesthetics (in my opinion) is "rice". I try and substitute the word "civic" for ...

Re: WTB: door skins for cfiber doors

I only have 1 question about this project. WHY THE **** WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THIS? The word 'rice' comes to mind. I don't mean to knock it, but I hate it when people try and turn our car into a civic. If you're gunna do an aesthetic mod, do something worth while. Carbon fiber door panels is just sil...

Ok, let's break this down a little bit better ltjrunner. basic turbo set up- basic mid grade custom exhaust manifold-250-500 You can get them much cheaper off cars that share the same engine block yet come with a turbo (for 4 cyl) A K8 stock exhaust manifold will flow enough for a T3 turbo. and sinc...

Re: few questions before i begin

Well man, 'alot' isn't really a good power goal to set. You should shoot for a certain number, then when you reach that, you can decide to go further, ot stay there. The CT-26 turbo is also the same charger on the Supra TT and the MR2 turbo. If you don't know what an A/R is then you are not really r...
