Re: Subs in Sub-trunk space?>
I havn't tried it in the MX-3 but my neighbor had a Civic HB. He built a board above the spare tire area and put a 26" sub in there. It sounded so good that he had his car broken into 5 times with peeps trying to get it but he had it hidden too good. I don't know what we could do with our MX-3'...

Re: Any Utah MX-3s?
So there are only 3 people with MX-3's in Utah that access this board? WOW! I see them all over Ogden and Riverdale. Thought more people would know about this site. Maybe we should take it upon ourselves to spread the word. Maybe we should contact the owner of this site and buy a MX-3.com Sticker fr...

Re: Do it yourself sub box
well, if you're asking "how" that means you should buy one already built. You have to have them at the specified air space and they have to be air tight. If you're good with wood, go buy some 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard) and get on audiobahn's website to find the air space nee...

Re: Should I change my alternator
Well, first of I would go with a capacitor. It works like an alternate battery. Your battery charges it, and then your amp runs off the capacitor rather than the battery and the alternator. If with the power cap your lights still dim when your bass hits then an alternator will be the next thing to g...

Re: Thought's on this box...
haha, not the best sub....but you can always upgrade later. I wouldn't bid more than the "buy it now" price of $122.65. It was at 19.25 when I checked it, and really ANY sub is worth $20 if it works.

Re: Audiobahn sub and amp
As I say alot in this forum. It's all personal preferance. Audiobahn makes a hella good sub (not too experienced with their amps) but MY preference is Kenwood dB+ or Infinity Kappa. They hit hard...the only prob is they only come in 12" so you'd have to have more of them to compare with some Au...

I know that there is a shop manual on this site, but it makes things go extremely slow when you have to keep running inside to refer to it. Does anyone know if there is a shop manuel that has been scanned into a text file, or maybe an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file? If so where can I download it? Thanks ...

Re: This MX-3 could be YOURS
I don't know the conversion of Canadian to USD but if it's only $7.5G's US then it's definatly worth it. I bet he's put $2000 just in audio alone. If I didn't already have an MX-3 and lived a little closer, I would definatly buy it. Dood, you should show some pics of the inside and your audio setup....

Resetting 1.8L ECU
How would I go about resetting my ECU on my 94 GS, and what are the bennefits of it? Also if you upgrade your ECU what will it do for the performance of your car, and if you know, how dies it do it? I am new to the engine aspect of the MX-3 but I am learning fast and all the help I can get would be ...

It could even be your alternator. I would take it to a shop and have it put on the computer to read your codes. That may or may not tell you what's wrong.<BR>~Ryan~

Re: sound stage and seperation of frequencies
also I would run 1 4-channel amp instead of 2 2-channel amps, that way you get better distribution of power. One's not over-powering the other.

Re: sound stage and seperation of frequencies
The sound stage concept is to set your system to sound like you are at a concert hall. The sound shouldn't be coming from behind you....but there is still reverb from behind. The best way to go is for a component in the front. 2 or 3 way speakers in the back (most of your sound will still come from ...
