I put 5w30 in my car recently, and the tick is MUCH improved. I suggest that, unless you are in a very cold climate. In that case you will have to stick with 10w30.

BTW I have a manual instead of an auto like you said that you had, but it could be a similar thing.

Many MX-3's have a hard shift into second, it's a pretty common problem. Could be several reasons, but one of the most probable is that the syncro for second gear is bad and thus you have to force it into gear instead of it being sync'd already.

My car rattles when the AC is on and it's idling because the car drops down to a very low idle speed. It almost stalls actually. I'm not sure what's wrong with it. It's fine if I'm driving but as soon as I put in the clutch to come to a stop it drops to like 300 rpm and this causes lots of vibration...

You never know. They rip you off SO bad. I had to replace my windshield and I think they wanted like $140 just for the seal. LOL

Did you do an engine swap or something? To my knowledge there was no 1995 GS, they discontinued it and just kept the RS for 95 and 96, and then dropped the car alltogether after 1996.

Man that sucks. The only thing that I could say is to take the cover off and glue the red lens back on. That won't be easy though.
