Re: POLL: How do you position your 94+ Interior Air Vents??

I make an + with mine. Making an X sounds pretty cool too, I've never even thought of it. But the better question is, what do you do to keep them from falling? Mine never stay where I put them. Maybe I'll try putting some felt or something around the outside, I wonder if that would help hold them in...

Re: accessiors, where to find them???

Corksport, NOPI, and Ebay are good places to start for MX-3 parts. There isn't much though as far as aftermarket support, just a warning.

Re: sunroof not workin

BTW, if you keep running it when it's stuck, you will burn out the motor. So make sure if you can hear the motor trying to run, then make sure something is actually moving. LOL

Re: Why do you modify your mx-3?

I agree. I bought mine with just under 100K miles, and now I have 131K, and the only thing that I have done is replace the front brakes. The engine seems like it's never going to die. I've been hard on it lately too because I want a new car, and I can't justify getting a new car when I have a good l...

Re: did u guys see this supercharger thing on ebay?

Ya, if anything that thing should be called an electric turbo, not a supercharger. But we all know that electric turbo is a scam, so that is probably why they didn't list it that way.

Re: Help!!! Need assistance with Cap

I'm an electrical engineer. While I can't tell you if you will get a huge spark when you turn on the system, I can tell you that 1 farad is a TON of energy. So be careful. To get a feeling for how big 1 farad is, the caps that I usually use in designing normal circuitry range from the micro (10e-6) ...

Re: Help!! my mx3 died on me

Go on car-parts.com and do a search for that part. Hopefully lots of dealers will come up across the USA with that part. You can then call them and have it shipped to you.

No I don't but I bet if you searched around in the dash wiring diagram in the online manual here at MX-3.com you could find it.

Re: Neon Spark Plug Wires

Could you actually see individual on/off cycles for the neon? It seems to me that with the engine running the spark plugs would be sparking faster than the eye could pick up, so it would just seem like a constant neon glow. That is the same way that flourecent lights work, they are actually strobing...

Re: Passing Emissions with JDM?

Man emissions testing sucks. I used to live in Michigan and they don't even have inspections let alone emissions testing. If you car can start, you can drive it there. LOL

Awesome what are you in Japan for? Keep your eye out for a Skyline while you are over there, those are some sweet cars.

I'm also going to be selling my MX-3, but probably not until next spring or so. I really want a convertible.

Re: Thumbs up for these tires

I agree with the Kumho 712's. They are a great deal. Also, if you are really really on a budget, and want a low-pro tire, try the Kumho 711's. They are not really a performance tire, more like a passenger tire. But you can find them for about $50-$60 each, and they are great if you don't do a lot of...

Re: Tires?

Sweet how did you get free tires? I just bought a brand new set of Michellin winter tires (14's) for my winter driving. I paid $200 for the whole set, I think that is a pretty good deal.
