Re: New Krylon, Thank you lord

Really, so there is no bleed through of another color since you are not priming or anything like that? How much per can?

Re: Grinding in whel when turning left

Definitely your CV joint. The MX-3 is famous for having those go out when the car gets a little old (like all ours are). Luckily it is not a ton of money to get them replaced.

Re: WARNING ABOUT PACESETTER EXHAUST

Good luck, you will NEVER hear back from them, I guarantee it. I have the same exhaust, but I have had no problems. Here is what I recommend. If you live up north, or anywhere where it's wet or there is salt all over the roads, do not get this exhaust! If you live where it's dry, then go for it, you...

Re: Airbox

No, that's the resonator box! I knew it. Yes, that hose goes down to a smaller box, and the box has a bunch of plastic fins in it. It's only purpopse it to kill sound waves and make your engine quieter.

Re: intake and adapter on ebay

Yes, the only difference is that you do not need the metal adapter that they give you. The filter will go on without it.

Re: Thank you to MX-3 administrators...

Hi Kelli! I agree with you, I would have sold my MX-3 last year and bought a new car but I found this site and instead of selling my car, decided to spend some time working on it, and now I think it looks just as good as any new car. :-)

Re: paying the ol mx off i think

I just bought this baby straight cash. I'm rich beeeatch! LOL That's Dave Chapelle. In reality for me I got a loan from my parents and paid them off over a year. That was pretty nice of them since they didn't charge me any interest or anything. Now that I got a real job and such I'm all good to go.

Re: Whats making the noise?

Wheel bearing is a good guess, if it's not that, then you might have something wrong with your tire. I had a very similar problem, although mine was mostly audible at low speeds. Turns out there was a big knot on the back tire, so everytime it went around it make a sound. Does your sound slow down a...

Re: Looking for some more Power

You mentioned you swapped your MAS, but you didn't say anything about cold air intake. I would do that if you haven't. Makes a big difference.

Re: Big-Bore "MONZA" exhaust system kit (pacesette

I have recently typed up a long answer to somebody that asked the exact same question. It was in the last 3 weeks or so. The short answer is that no it will not fit right unless you modify the connection between the cat and the cat-back system. The flange got turned for some dumb reason starting in ...

Re: Electrical problem

Yes they probably are related. There is a wiring schematic for everything in the car online here at MX-3.com. I would suggest checking that out, and seeing if you can trace down where those systems get their power, and then check the connection.

Re: replacing brakes and rotors

The only hard part about switching the brakes would be if you had to bleed the brake lines. You need a special tool or two people for that.

Re: Wax Much?

Just a little advice, you don't have to use that old fashioned wax anymore, stuff like Nu Finish and Formula 2001 works really good and takes like a half hour to do the whole car.
