Re: intake question
The ebay intake can be used on the 94-95, but a few pieces in the kit you will not use. I did it, without a problem, works great on my 94.

Re: Exhaust 2.25" VS. 2"
what diameter is your custom exhaust? where does it split for the dual tip? Since it is custom, do you know if your cats have been gutted? Both of mine are still on, both have been gutted, since it's 'illegal' to cut them off.

ah man, I was wanting to do the same swap, ATX to MTX. I can drive for the parts if deal doesn't go through, you wouldn't have to deal with shipping

Re: Exhaust 2.25" VS. 2"
I've done alot of research, and had discussions with several professionals and have come to this conclusion: It's not backpressure that matters to these engines, it's the matter of airflow inside the pipe. If the pipe is wider, air velocity changes, a pipe that's too wide has air moving too slow - r...

Re: How can I fix my throttle intake hose?
You can go to the dealer for one. I checked for my mx (same problem), but it was the same price as the ebay intake for the sohc. I bought the intake system. Why replace when you can upgrade??

Re: MX-3 GS manual tranx to Auto tranx
what's wrong with your manual tranny? If it's still good, I may take it off your hands-may be getting a 93 GS with some valve body issues, and I'm wanting to do a swap as well. Hey, PM me, we may be able to help each other out??

Re: rear brake conversion
Yes, I recommend a search, I found everything already listed, a few times over, in fact. I'm just curious about the outcome of the swap, as there wasn't much feedback included in the other posts. I may have a GS with a bad auto tranny (likely valve body is faulty, but tranny forum question has yield...

rear brake conversion
OK, I did a search on this subject since I've been considering it for awhile. Rear GS discs on an RS. Doesn't seem too hard if all parts are available. It's been discussed before, I've read it. What I'm curious about is satisfaction. Have those who've done this mod been happy with the results?? Does...

Re: Battery relocation and flipping the spare
I think he did that so that the spare would still be accessible with a sub box in the hatch area. Without having to move the box, the spare can still be used. No room for it there without the cutting and welding he did. Great idea on his part. You'd have to measure the spare to maintain the correct ...

94-95=DOHC
Do a search, I'm sure your other question has been discussed before. But I don't know the answer, just pointing you in the right direction.

compatible springs
hey, I saw a list of cars whose springs would fit our mx3's, but have had no luck finding it again. I've used the search function, to no avail. Does anyone know where this list is now??

Re: high rpms at start up
You're putting a load on the engine at idle, your vacuum leak will suck more, since the engine has that load. As it sucks more, the idle will vary accordingly. Have you actually managed to drive this car?

Re: Engine is hotter than usual
Possibly your water pump blades are corroding. When you increase engine speed it's speeding up the circulation of coolant, where at idle it is unable to circulate enough...
