Re: Schools out MX-3 meet in Oklahoma

Hey I haven't been on the board since then either. I couldn't find an mx-3 i liked after my wreck so i had to settle for a NA White Stealth R/T instead. I'm still intrested in mx-3's and would like to attend a meet again(here not texas) and see what new stuff you guy's have come up with in the past ...

Re: My first crash (need help to touch up the paint)

i'v found that super red II import autospray paint by Dupli-color is a prefect match for red MX-3's and tape off a square around where you spray paint, other wise you'll screw up the clear coat like i did on my hood and if you do the same with the clear coat auto spray it should look alright.

Re: Clear coat

the paint says to use the top clear coat on it to properly match the color. maby i didn't use enough of it or somthing no matter you can only tell close up or if the sun is shining on it at an angle. i think i'll put some more on and use a buffer to buff the hell out of it to get it shiny. thnks any...

Re: life span of the 1.8?

take good care of it and it will last you for a long time mine has 165k on it and is running fine(not like new of course) but besides some ticks under the hood it sounds good for the mileage.the only stuff i'v had to replace is distributor, power steering pump, and exhaust.

Re: mx-3 repair manuel

the only one they make is by Chilton's and it isn't even directly for the mx-3 it's more of seven cars cramed into one book and can sometimes can be hard to find out which car it's talking about. also the online shop manual on this site can be a great help.

Re: totaled my Camaro..need new car HELP!

why not get a v6GS mine only cost me $2500 and that was from a dealership. They are a little harder to find than the rs's but to me they look alot better with the front/back spoilers.
