Re: Re-covering factory seats
it's a chep mod if you know some one who is good at sewing. it cost me $3.75 for a yard of red canvas, about $3.00 for some twist ties and key rings, and a case of diet coke for my step-mom to sew it for me. I used the twist ties to hold the seat into place and used the key rings for the parts that ...

Re: exactly what is air intake?
Air intakes basicly are tubes that relocate your filter to a colder air source so the engine gets cold air. Cold air in your engine ='s more horsepower

Re: i just got my '94 mx-3 gs and i love it, but i need som
There's not alot of modes you can do preformance wise except the cold air intake, exhaust, and 2.5 swap but most of the good looking exterior and interior mods people do themselves, such as seats, painting trim, gauges, and lights. good luck with your car and look on the regestry for pics and ideas. ...

Re: Help! Amateur on the loose!
The only thing i can recomend is geting some silcon glue that they put on the side of fish tanks and waterproof it yorself, or drill a small hole in the bottom of your housing so if water does get in it can drip out.

Re: Need help with my freshly painted calipers
I painted mine red and I clean mine with some mild soap and a dish towel. I have noticed if you use any type of harsh chemicals it eats away the paint. If you need to touch them up leave them on the car and use a peice of cardboard to catch the over spray, it's alot easier than taking them off agian.

Re: Maybe buying a GS...have questions
that sound like a pretty good car the price sounds a little high but thats most likely because of the low miles on it, the condition, and where your buying it from. I bought mine for $2500. Its at the 165k mile mark and the only problem i'v had with it is the distributer going out on it. Otherwise i...

Re: Best way to bleed my brakes?
Nevermind, my sister was letting the brake pedal up before i could get the bleeder shut. I have my brakes back now after i explained to her releasing it lets air back in the lines and she needed to hold the pedal down so i could shut the bleeder without letting more air in.

Best way to bleed my brakes?
I recently took my brakes off to paint my calipers and put them back on. I bleed my brakes but i still can't get the brakeing power i had before i took them off. now instead of feeling resistance almost as soon as i touch the pedal i have to push it half way down before i feel any resitance. can any...
