Air Con Condenser Remove/Install
Hi, Yet another air con question from me :) I am about to order a new air con condenser to replace my leaky one but I have a few questions I would really like answered. 1) The condenser is leaky and there is no pressure at all on the low side. Can I safely assume that all the r134a will be done and ...

Re: Shearing sound from gearbox at certain RPM
It seems like it is coming from under the car, probably the gearbox. I have just tested it and it does go away when after I've been driving about for a few minutes. Could it be I need to use a different gearbox oil? I suppose its one of the easiest things to try.

Shearing sound from gearbox at certain RPM
Hi, I've noticed that when I am in 2nd gear and I am accelerating thought a certain RPM (20mph) there is a kind of shearing noise heard, sort of like someone shearing a knife across a cheese grater or something and lasts about as long. The only place I have really noticed this notice is when I have ...

Replacing gearbox oil - just checking some things
Hi, I have a UK MX-3 1997 V6. I have had the car for a few months now and notice that the gear selection is not as smooth as in the 323F I drive. There is also a soft of grinding/cranking noice when I accelerate through 20mph in 2nd gear (its only heard when the window is down and there is a wall or...

thanks, that did the trick. I pushed the clips in a bit and wrapped some padded tape round them
No more annoying noises

Inside of door rattling
Hi,
The inside top part (the bit below the window) of my passenger door is starting to rattle badly against the glass (i think). Also when I push it it seems loose.
How do I fix
Its really bugging me.

Re: Removing the mazda logo on the hood ?
I replaced my badge with the MX-5 one you mention. I looks great. I just basically prized off the old badge then had to use some cleaner and rubbing to get the leftover glue off. I then had to break the pins of the MX-5 badge as they were i a different place and didnt line up. However it fits over t...

Re: V6 Tuning Parts in the UK
Yeah, it sucks. Although us UK's get the pleasure of having 1997-98 V6 models there is no aftermarket support at all :( However I am thinking about importing the lexus style lights from the US (ebay) as they will work out way cheaper even with shipping. Its even hard to buy normal mazda parts online...

Re: Mazda Part Numbers
Its the part in front of the radiator. If its any use, when facing the car the pipes from the condenser exit to the right.

Mazda Part Numbers
Hi, How do Mazda part numbers work??? More exactly - what do the first 4 digits mean? I am in the UK and I have a 1997 V6 - I want to replace my aircon condenser and my local dealer says its part number E04061480 and costs £250 (abourt $460) - however on a US parts site they sell one which matches t...
