Re: KLZE how much?

That price sounds pretty cheap, most people that have bought cheap klze's got sh*t engines. There is no need for the klze tranny either your stock one is fine, but you will want the ecu. I'd suggest you buy your engine from a reputable company like noyan usa or sun's engines i have heard good things...

Re: STRUTS

You can get kyb gr-2 struts on psituning.ca for $125. They are supposed to be good struts for stock replacment. The price seems a little high cause i have seen them on US sites for $50, but its still alot cheaper then the prices you have listed.

Re: KLZE how much?

There was a link on here a while back for a brand new klde crate engine. It was $2000 then all you would need is the vaf and ecu you could pick up off probetalk for probably 80 bucks or so. New performance clutch for about $300. Plugs and wires for about $100. $2480 sounds like a good deal to me for...

Re: car dies for no reson

Sounds like you need a new distributor. Very common in these cars. Get a remanufactured one from autozone, comes with a lifetime warranty.

wipers staying on...

I was out and it was raining so i had the wipers on. The rain stopped so i go and turn them in the off position, and they are staying on. Which is pretty annoying on a dry window. I kept checking cause i thought i was going nuts but they are definitely in the off position. Anybody know how to fix th...

Re: ZE swap question

Out of curiosity, anybody know if there is a chip you could get for an obd2 ecu to change it to ze specs? If so, does it work well?

Re: ZE swap question

well according to lakersfan's post the obd2 harnesses were made different so the obd2 klde ecu wont plug in to your harness.

Re: ZE swap question

If you are going to convert to obd1, then you will need your stock je50 vaf, and a klze ecu (kl31 or kl36). If you are going to stay obd2, the use you current ecu, and get a klde vaf.
