Re: k series engine information
klde is the most boost friendly with lower compression ratio of 9:2:1. kfze im pretty sure has 10:1 cr. along with the klze.

also i would recommend you buy these obx ones (hotshot knock-offs) just cause they are half the price.

Re: need headers
Yes those work i think the cat just has to be moved back a little bit. I would think you will be getting a high flow cat put on the same time anyway. The first ones you would want on a 94. I think the 96 ones are for obd2 (someone correct me if im wrong) <small>[ November 09, 2004, 08:56 PM: Message...

Re: here's my quandary....
Your should search other topics about swapping a klze into an auto mx-3. I think its a lot more work then swapping into a 5 spd.

Re: Distributer problem.
Your sig says 94 gs. I thought the POS distys were in the 92 and 93 models and the problem was fixed for the 94 and up models? The 94 and up use different distributors, different part number for sure

Re: 93 gs wont start when engie is warm
I had a similar problem with mine that was on going for a year and a half and after all that time, it turned out just to be my starting motor. Does it turn over whens its warm? Mine used to very weakly turn over a few times when it was warm and then just stop, half hour later it would start right up...

Re: KL - DE
You dont need the engine out of an obd2 car the engine doesnt matter, you just need the obd2 ecu. Or you could probably just use your current ecu and get a 2.5 vaf.

Re: MS8 KLZE 5 Speed Manual Tranny
I think that while the transmissions are the same, they have different gear ratios. Don't know what the klze's would be though.
