Re: mazda3 skyactiv, mazdaspeed2, cx5, mazda6 2013?

If I get some decent tax money back, I think I'm going to try the new skyactivs. There throws are nice and short and I think they'd last a long time. They are driven by a timing chain and this is all mazda and not ford now so it should be decent. I want to wait for the cx5 but the 3 just offers bett...

Re: soo saw a MS3 at work...

lol, so true, my niece picked a cell phone over a new used car because she already had a janky corolla. lol. we still tease her to this day since her younger sisters all want a decent used car over a phone. lol. I've heard people getting 38city/45highway on 87 octane with the skyactivs.

Re: MEET IN WI

If there were to be a meet, I'd like to possibly go to a track or maybe meet up where there's actually something going on. Driving 3hours or more just one way just to hook up is nice but it'd be a lot better if there was an activity that we could all take our cars to or something. I don't know, hate...

Re: Monmouth, IL (3 hours south of Chicago, IL) '93 mx3 gs 2

Did he give you any other intake manifolds to go with the car? It looks like a stock 1.8 unless the rest is either de/ze? Look on the heads to see the stampings of the numbers and letters. Zes are kl31-101 kl31-1A1 des are kl-101 kl-1A1, or it might just be a 1.8. Who knows, does it get up and go re...

Re: Valve Cover gaskets making me angry..you dont want to se

Same here, I've driven mine probably 10,000 miles since my thermo block spacers were thrown on my 6 and it looks nice and dry. I'd hate to take off the mani just to redo it all. lol

Yeah, torque it with the right tools and with the right pattern, mine has been good for me on my mx6 and sometime soon i'll be doing one on the mx3. Not sure yet though, lol, too cold now. Plus if you buy from napa, they come in a nice package saying made in japan if you care. lol.

Re: mazda3 skyactiv, mazdaspeed2, cx5, mazda6 2013?

There is alot of engine space and they are ran by a timing chain so I'm not sure how bad or how great they are as in engine life compared to kls but they have less emissions. Every car needs work but going for a test drive never hurts, especially in a new mazda.

Lol, I was thinking, I never had the special edition mx3 but I don't think they were 16s for the 5 star rims. lol. Oh well, some of us just look too deeply at times but it's all good.

Just go to autozone or napa, they should carry k8 flywheels. Picked mine up at autozone last year.

[WTB] mx3 klze

Hi, my younger brother was looking for a car that has some get up and go. He's looking at a mx3 in Indiana that supposedly has a ze but I was wondering if anyone on here might have one localy or within a decent driving distance? The cleaner the better, not sure what you're asking but go ahead and pm...

Re: [WTB] WINDSHIELD 93 MX3 GS

Idk what insurance company you have but if you have the 100% glass coverage than insurance usually does it for free. Progressive sent out someone and they fixed it in my driveway like 30 minutes than off he went. Parked her in the garage and she was good as new! Didn't pay a dime or penny.

Re: Valve Cover gaskets making me angry..you dont want to se

It just depends on who's on and who wants to reply. Most kl owners will help out with anything because we all want our cars to stay on the roads for as long as they live.
