Re: painting gauge bezel?

Yes the same painting process. No you don't need to tape off the turn signals they just pop out of the bezel. I painted my dash parts with silver. Looks awesome. I like it better than the white guages on the black bezel. I'm at work right now so I can't post a pic, but as soon as I get a chance I wi...

Re: Looking at a KLDE motor

I'll have to look somewhere other than local. I called our salvage yard around here to get parts & they wanted $700 for a probe GT motor even though they did not have one. That's not including ecu or VAF.

Small towns are a rip off!!!!

I am seriously thinking about getting it. I found a high performance kit on the internet for $1200 or the standard rebuild for $800

Re: grand am headlights?

I beleive the Grand Am headlights are bigger. Besides I used to own a lowered 01 Grand Am with 18" rims. The only thing I don't like about the grand am headlights is that they have the reflector & turn signal in the headlight & the reflector cannot be removed. It is molded into the head...

Re: got a talon tsi, need help

Make sure you have the car turned off with keys out of ingition & test the wire for a constant power supply. If you do not have a constant power that is not the right wire. What did you test the wire with? A light up tester a Volt meter? Make sure you have a good ground on the light up tester.

Looking at a KLDE motor

I am looking at doing a KLDE swap. I found an engine out of a 97 MX-6. The #6 bearing took a sh*t the guy says. I can get the motor for $50-$100. Is this worth it or should I keep looking for a motor in better shape. Would the whole motor have to be rebuilt or could you just change all of the bearin...

Re: wing ?

I'm not to fond of aluminum wings anymore as I had one on a cavalier it was ripped off(literally) 2 days after I put it on. They pulled the bolts up through the trunk.

I guess they wanted it more than I did.

What did he use to lower the car? The stance is perfect.
