I just got back. Was a sorry sight, hardly any cars compared to past shows and I didnt see one MX-3! I think I saw 2 Mazda 6's and maybe 2-3 RX-8's. Sad, just sad.

What was your compression across each cylinder before you started pouring oil down your spark plug holes? I apologize if I missed this. I cleaned my up real good and used plastic epoxy on it. I just put it on all around the joint. Did it last spring, hasn't leaked yet, even when the car overheated because of a stuck thermostat 3 weeks ago.

Good point, I think he's talking about the filler cap, its between the heads, the rap cap is on the right side of the rad. Sounds like he's got a good air lock.

I wouldn't recommend shaving your heads. I shaved my first set of heads .025-.030", not knowing how much slack I created the timing belt jumped a tooth. I had to resleeve the center idler pulley (between the heads) to take up the slack. I would recommend just cleaning up the surface and you sho...
