Re: if you have the Mazdaspeed exhaust..
Yeah, I was thinkin I'd just wait for the 2.5 and then decide after that - plus I'll be able to feel whatever difference an exhaust makes on the larger engine, and that will be fun. :) As fighting drone, at least on the 1.8, I've been there/done all that with the custom stuff etc, and that thing jus...

Re: if you have the Mazdaspeed exhaust..
BUT, the other thought, haha.. For the price of that exhaust I could complete/do my suspension setup, also Mazdaspeed, lol. All their endlinks/bushings/strutmounts, with new Tokico's and my old Eibach's I've had laying around forever. (original set from years ago) But then I still need an exhaust, a...

Re: if you have the Mazdaspeed exhaust..
Yeah, mandrel 2.5" I believe, which is actually bigger than I want.. But I spose if I'm gonna have the same exhaust for a long time, and I actually do my po-bo stage2 engine package next year.... hahahhaa. (headers/ZE heads/regrinds) Also, they claim 4.2hp on the dyno, but I have not figured ou...

Re: if you have the Mazdaspeed exhaust..
Money always comes back somehow guys..anybody who cares to dissagree - tell me why and how you are on a computer right now. :p It also has excellent dyno numbers. There are a few peeps on-list who have it, but they tend to do headers with it at the same time. Headers seem to be where the drone is re...

if you have the Mazdaspeed exhaust..
Opinions? I know it is mega-expensive, but the word on the street is it has nearly no drone-factor to it at all. All of you that have been without an exhaust/muffer or have done some other aftermarket/custom exhausts know exactly what I mean, lol. (where it's deafening inside the car around 2-3k RPM...

Re: 94 MX-3 V6 1.8L Engine stumble
Oooh, somthin I forgot to say.. You replaced the rotor/cap, but this may be early warning signs of the distributor going out. There's a specific part in them that fails due to excessive heat, over time - the ignitor module. It has given these distributors a rep. for failing. Some people get warning ...

Re: 94 MX-3 V6 1.8L Engine stumble
I've got exactly the same problem, and have a CEL.. Checked the code, (sorry, can't remember), and it was a knock sensor code. My knock sensor is bad and thus the engine is running with retarded timing until it hits 4k RPM and other devices take over where to put the timing. The most common reason f...

Re: check this Mx-3 gs!!
Wow! I'm not a big fan of extensive bodywork, but that is very nicely done! I'm pretty sure I've seen those headlights in an MX before, wonder if it was his.. Also wonder what may lie under the hood.

Re: I am having problems with my Automatic Transmission
It could be that or the posistion sensor is screwed and it doesn't know if it's in gear or not etc. Can't think of the particular name of the sensor right now, but a shop should know how to adjust/check it. When my tranny went, it was dead in all gears, till it slammed into gear and shot spider gear...

Re: Streetbeatcustoms Wind Deflectors!!
Pic's don't show up here.. By what I saw on their website, they don't look nearly as streamline as the slimvisors. Would like to see em on an MX so I can make a decision. I'd really like the bronze slimvisors but they don't sell em in the transparent/bronze plastic anymore..

Re: KLDE intake manifold on K8?
Yes, the KL-DE has oval runners, much like the K8's, BUT, they are still larger runners - if I am not mistaken.

Need SE rims..
Howdy all.. I am looking for some non-bent, Special Edition, MX-3 rims. Special edition as in the type that came on the purple US/Canadian 6cyl MX's. I've got at least one that's bent, (not sure if more than one yet), and I would like to replace this so I can get rid of the vibration. Heads up, I'm ...
