Re: Crush bent really that bad?

These guys are wrong, lol.. You won't notice the benifits of the mandrel unless you're highly tuned. Your original idea was spot on, do that. And $140 is always my quote everywhere I ask about a typical crush bent setup as well. Guess we're just in the wrong area..

Re: to hot lookin not to post...

my rotors are on the floor awaiting my Goodridge lines and EBC pads. :D got mine from eBay for the same price, and they are cadnium plated in that silver. (which of course isn't as pretty in the pic as they are in person) rebuilding my calipers when it all goes on as well.

Re: New Pics !! Out of storage

Ooh, you got a painted CF hood or somthin, or just have hoodpins? I'd almost like to paint my CF hood (OEM style) when it goes on, but I don't think I can cover up the beauty of it, hehe.

Re: Any Colour Suggestions? PLEASE!

Blue with some kind of pearl always looks wicked.... Or even silver with a blue pearl or somthin. The options are endless. That's why I could never pick a favorite. If I ever get my SE repainted, again, (cause I got RIPPED for a horrid job the first time :( ), I'll prolly leave it stock Rasberry Met...

Re: Glass sunroof conversion (w/pics)

I imagine they make em pretty tough.. It may go back into the roof in its original design but it's still most likely designed to take a hit from a rock or somthing while in closed posistion..

Re: Arials

All kinds of lower end cars come without radios man, and if you order your car from a dealership, you can specify you don't want a radio.. It can drop like $600+ or so off the tag price. Also, I get like NO reception with the antenna pushed down to where it's just sticking out, so that wouldn't do t...

other steering wheels..

I was wondering if any of you knew of other factory steering wheels that fit the MX-3? I'd like to have a newer type, Miata wheel, with the Mazda log in silver in the center - plus my OEM leather one is just kinda showing its age. I painted my Mazda emblem in the stock wheel but of course that didn'...

Re: Glass sunroof conversion (w/pics)

one more sunroof question, haha.. I've always wondered why they cut the opening in the car so small compared to where the actual roof fits. I know it needs room on the sides to seal, and some for the front and back, but whyd they make the rear part of the seal area soooo much bigger than the front? ...

Re: Glass sunroof conversion (w/pics)

Looks great man! How much light does it let through in the daytime?? I don't really want one that's tooo dark, cause that's what I was looking for - that open feeling of having the roof open when you can't. But you also said it helps with teh clausterphobic feeling soo..

Re: Anyone ever rearended in a MX-3?

My first rearending expierience, I was on the news.. Stopped traffic on the highway, rolling hills in a construction zone, crested one going too fast and saw nothing was movin. I was verry thankful to stop about 5" from the last guy's rear bumper, and not even lock the wheels. I was still sitti...
