Until I get definitive responses from Mazda/Mazdaspeed Japan, I'm keeping an open mind. Of course, that could well be somewhere around the thirty-fifteenth of Never. You might not want to hold your breath on this one... I doubt they will answer you. And so out of 5000 members of an MX-3 fanatic UBB...

See how much better it is without the mudslinging? My own research includes owning my MX since 1999 and not only reading and visit tons of Mazdaspeed related sites, but asking my own questions of the various elder Mx-3 owners like you are doing now. [...] Also- I used what some might call COMMON SE...

No, those are just e-spec standard GS side skirts. Nothing Mazdaspeed about that. You're right - hadn't spotted that. Still, I'm going to press him about the Vehicle Registration Document, it should be revealing. It could be he's bought it in good faith. This thread is still going? There was NEVER ...

NO the plot doesnt thicken... you are a tard and so is THAT guy if he thinks it really is one. IF Mazda ever made a "Mazdaspeed MX-3" (and they did NOT) then it would at least be the flagship v6 model and a manual.. not the crappy 1.6 or the crappy Automatic. That guy just bought the enti...

Well, well, well... Look what I've just encountered... Image 1 (rear) Image 2 (front) Image 3 (side) In AutoTrader. I've spoken to the seller and he says he's no idea if it's ACTUALLY a Mazdaspeed MX-3, but it came with the kit and the dials straight off the boat. And let's compare the wheels to th...

Or, alternatively, I could read the link jschrauwen posted two posts before yours which is, in fact, the exact same thread you're talking about. And indeed, as I said, "Interesting thread - pity I could only catch one word in three of it..." And furthermore my original question was whethe...

Is this a wise purchase, or is it false economy.

I note the words "Mazdaspeed-STYLE" in the auction...

Bearing in mind I know NOTHING at all about this kind of thing, how hard is it to fit/install and indeed is it even suitable for my car (standard V6)?

Nup. Manual V6 all the way.

Automatic my a--. Anyway, autos suck in the snow - especially auto RWDs (as my dad - Jaguar XJ8 - found out recently to his expense).

Yes - and it should be done if you're thinking of changing your wheel sizes. I would say that you can get a GPS system, so that you're aware of your true speed, but in the UK that wouldn't help - speedos have a certain tolerance in law of -10% (they aren't allowed to read over - like saying 33mph a...

An increase in rolling radius by approximately 1 inch will put your speedo out by nearly 8% (give or take). It will also adversely affect acceleration, but give you a marginally increased maximum speed (assuming you can get there - for the 137hp the MX-3 puts out it has a maximum speed of 141mph, d...
