Oh believe me, Ive heard what "rod knock" sounds like. That does not come close to it. Its definately the HLA's.

And if you want to be technical about it, more like 1993.5, 1994, and 1995 models.

I thought that the plate on the valve cover that says "16 valve" meant that it has 16 valves.

You sir, sound like your asking for a 1st gen mx6 GT. But in all seriousness, a 90-94 BP-DE is plentiful and could be had for around $500. And since you say your fat...

DIYAutotune is where I got my MSII too.

You can either get the fully assembed one or buy the diy kit(you basically solder it together)

Over on mx6.com the guys to talk to about MS tuned for V6 ZE's and DE's is Fastest95PGT or Radar. They have a bulk buy for MS going on.

Ya a megasquirt is another option, but it doesn't have the Daily Driving/reliability. It would require me to do "a lot" of self tuning. And realisticly you have to agree, Megasquirt is crap. In the land of Standalones it sucks. The new Greddy ultimate has autotune, plus it does just as mu...

Now if smeone wants to buy a bolt on turbo, thats always possible, but unless you have the cash to build the internals, its a waste of money for the gains you'd get. The same could be said for engines with high compression ratios such as the KL-ZE. But the key factor in making it last longer and wo...

I would venture out to say that yes, the swap is possible. Granted that you can overcome any fitment issues with some kind of custom modifications such as mounts and fitting the drivetrain, and ECU. The GT transmissions are a beefy bunch. In saying that, the axles might not fit into the hub assembly...
