Re: 1992mx3's just started
Ah yes it's time for the bike to take leave from me now so i can play with the mx-3. I can't justify keeping it anymore cause it rains too much and with my hip problem it hurts to much to ride. So hopefully soon I'll have lots of parts.

Re: 1992mx3's just started
Zilla spines huh? The way I see's it you have the federal law= obstruction of rear window has no limit as long as you have both side mirrors. State law= only has a section for tint on side and front windows. And then their's local law= that's the one that states in the officers mind = you get a tick...

rotflmao, Nice verbal illistration. I did not quite think off it in that way. If anything else I will save this hatch for the shows if I end up on that road.

Re: 1992mx3's just started
I have thought of that, I work with a guy that went to school with 3 of the local officers here and he's asking them tonight how much crap I can expect. In retrospect I have a back up plan to get the lexon hatch which is unsafe compared to this but what can you do. Everything you do to your car to &...

Re: 1992mx3's just started
In every place I have ever been In the U.S. the only rule for even Smoked out back window is you have to have both side mirrors. But not to worry It will be reinforced and A back up camara with 4" screen installed. I could not find a single thing making this illigal so....

I'm workin up to get my KLZE temp motor right now. I can get it but the Boss want's me to wait a little while. So I'll do other stuff for now. 20g Sheet Metal hatch. Safe and an estimated 34 pound savings http://i967.photobucket.com/albums/ae153/coporal/New%20MX-3/IMG_0288.jpg http://i967.photobucke...

Re: pistons and other stuff...
Well I will be running N/A for awhile but my intentions are to go boost at some point and that is why i want to build a strong motor up front. I do NOT plan on trying to get 350/400hp. I would be just fine with 250/300hp range. I think pauter rods, forged wrist pins, stock replacement 10.1:1 pistons...

Re: pistons and other stuff...
your right about that but the only difference in the block is the parts, 9.1:1 DE 10.1:1 ZE but that was not my question. The over all question in when those who boost their stock motors and blew them was there any dammage to the "pistons" themselves. I know of a few folk's from reading al...

After doing alot of reserch and a bit of impatiance I decited to go N/A for now with the possability of boost later. My question is, of all of you that have boosted and blown your stock engins how many actually fried your pistons? Not rods cause I read alot of posts about bent rods but can't find mu...
