I know the tranny does not have anything to do with emissions I said that in reference to having to upgrade the tranny due to the hop in horse power. which after looking into it I would have to with a turbo set up anyhow. I assumed due to he different displacement that they would know that it is not a 1.8. I swapped out my 305 for a 350 in my camaro and they new. I just don't want to spend alot of money putting in a new motor having to upgrade the internals in the tranny or swapping the tranny and find out that it wi...

One reason not to is every two years I would have to put the 1.8 liter in to smog...

turbo on 1.8...why not.

I have read through most all the listings for turbos on this board. Most of them talking about turbos on 2.0 2.5 liter motors. What would be so bad with just putting on a turbo on a 1.8? I understand that most people want a ton of power but some do not. Like myself I don't expect to get 300 hp from ...

I went with the 40 series as a first choice. When I went to the garage to buy it I saw the 60 series, read the box and made a final choice on the 40 series judged on what I read. I stii like it though, not to loud but you know I am there.

If your pump is making noise at all it is good to change it, safer that way. And it is recommended that @ 60,000 miles you should change timing belt, water pump and thermostat. So if you arround that milage then change them all if you can. My 92 mx3 gs just hit 60,000 miles and now I have to change ...

Re: Mx-3 Won't Start

That is pretty much what happened to my mx-3. I changed so many parts like disty cap rotor, plugs wires and fuel filter to name a few. so I installed the external coil and it runs good now. as far as flooding which is what my car did beacuse of the lack of spark. hope it helps.
