can i bore the cyclinders out from 74 to 86 safely

i have a 93 sohc and it was doing the same thing untill today i nabbed some 8mm NGK plugs off a totaled protege and the external coil wire from a escort GT and bam no more idle problems

will the external coil from a escort GT be a simple upgrade to my ignition system ?? are is it the same one i have on my bp...oh and my car has the sohc 16v

hey this junkyard said i can get the motor ( no tranny just motor and harness for 300 $ and the 97 has 30,ooo miles on it ...is this a good price ???? and i also seen a 1.8 escort motor 92 but i didn't get the price...i'll be going with the pro motor tho so is it all direct bolt up plug and play ect...

i,ve got brake lights and i have all new fuses .... just don't know what it is oh and i can get a 95 pro motor no tranny just motor for 300$ it also has 30,ooo miles on it will this be direct bolt up are will i have obd problems ???? oh and i found out my mx is 93 not 92 but i guess it don't matter ...

hey its like i've tried everything i ripped the entire dash of to check all the wiring checked all the fuses everything is connected and still nothing, oh and my heater/ac doesn't work ether i'll turn it on and it boggs the motor but nothing out of the vents :mad: ???? is it a bad ac compressor are ...

just wondering what other mazda,ford,mercury, internals i could use to lightly beef up my sohc

i'm try'n to take my guage cluster out and i can't seem to pull it out, like somthing is holding it in ??? i un screw qall the screws pull and nothing so if any one can help me please help !!!!!! thanxs !!

i could be wrong but its the little black box like thing, it sits right next to the factory air box its got a wire coming from it going to the distrubtor cap....i'll go take a pic and post it....
