well its not needed... but the car will bog down and not have much power.

Its was designed to have VICS.... so you would do good to hook it up (or even better, find a Protege LX harness and BP10 ECU and it will all plug and play.

My list is pretty complete. It includes stuff that YOU might not need to replace... it just depends on the quality of the motor you got and how much you want to spend. My car was made in September of 1991 and has the diamond shape. they were only on the first few months of the 1992 models. The rest got the round version.

They are older than 3 years old, I will tell you that.

They look like the CS bars I bought many moons ago before they started making their own.
