Search for posts by Gro_Harlem. I remember he swapped over internals from a Ford ZX2 trans. Said to have stronger gears and forks. I don't remember if the ratios were different tho, but i think they were. Also, it appears the 4cyl G series use an alloy shifter fork on the secondary shaft, while the ...

I got the same box when i ordered from SSautochrome. Everything looks fine to me and they fit. I did what tunes67 suggested, test fitted while still on the stand. I haven't got around to installing the engine yet, but so far so good. However, there is no welded on tag...just bare pipes. Fitted on a ...

The S/R struts will only handle 182# springs in the rear (reliably) but i'm thinking you'll need much more than that to keep the weight transfer to a minimum and keep the front tires better contacted to th...

i'm not quite sure what your asking...i guess you want to remove it. but yes, that black box is most probably the alarm brain. You can unplug it and generally all will be fine. But if it has a starter kill (and/or ignition kill and/or fuel cut) there's a chance you'll have to locate those connection...

I played with the program for a bit, works VERY similar to CorelDraw, so it didn't take me too long to get the basics down. I'll keep playing with it and see what i can come up with.

I have a few parts for sale, need to clean out the garage. I bought these parts from Probetalk members maybe about a year ago. I have not touched them since, condition remains as is when i got them. Which is good. 1999 Mazda 626 2.5L KL Intake Manifold. As i was told when purchased; Hybrid design, s...

the discount price from MMS is about $450 for the LSD and all the new parts needed. (see the link above from the how-to for the parts list) I have no idea what the price is without the MMS discount. (you must be a racer to get membership to MMS) I have not heard of anybody having it balanced after w...

Any Mazda dealer can get the MSP LSD, it's a standard Mazda part, not a Mazdaspeed exclusive. You can get 3-4 MSP LSDs for the price of a Quaiffe. Easier to install too, it's all 1 peice, just drop it in. Yes, as stated, from the Mazdaspeed Protege (MSP). You don't need to get a 626/MX6 trans, you c...
