Sounds like you got a good setup. However, do you already have those struts? That would be the only updrade I can see becuase they are just a OEM replacement, not really meant for lowering. You may want to look into upgrading to tokico or the escort ZX2 shocks (also tokico) from ford racing . They ...

On the MX6's and Probe GT's that i have seen, the rear trans mount is not the same.... these seem to use a subframe mount, where the MX3 uses a crossmember mount. (this is the rear mount, by the shifter linkage...easier to see when under the car) Hard to say, could be the clutch or the clutch slave....

But ya, they have the 2.5 as well...and they are pretty much a KLZE curved neck.

93-94 MX6, 626 or Probe GT.
As i'm pretty sure the 95-97 models had OBDII.
You can use any G tranny from those cars, as well as the MX3 GS trans.

nope and nope.

shifter parts fit, but won't shift properly and bind up.

The axles are too long, won't fit.

Not sure on the pedals, but i'd guess no.

We california ppl over at iMazda try to have a campout every 2-3 months. We've had 3-4 now and our last one was new years eve...and yes IT WAS DAMN COLD!! but still a great time. So far it's been central and norcal locations (we haven't won the coin toss for socal yet ;) ) but you guys are welcomed ...
