There is a difference between ZX2 and ZX2 S/R. The ZX2 would be run of the mill OEM struts. (sounds like what you found)

The ZX2 S/R's are made by Tokico for Ford Racing and are high perforamnce struts.

I tend to disagree, I had the same issue with my 205/50/15's with my lowering, the problem was the camber making the tire touch the strut, but in your case the tire maight be to tall, but should be ok, at one time I was running a 195-65-15 and it did not rub either, get your camber set whe you do t...

205/50/15 would be your target tire size. Whoa!! If he's got a GS, that's NOT the right size. For a V6, the size is 205/ 55 /15. And if you're going to 17's later, you want 205/45/17 or 205/40/17. Both strattle the correct outside diameter the 205/55/15 provides. sorry i was thinking Protege, not M...

I suppose you could, would look kinda goofy though  It's just not the right size.

205/50/15 would be your target tire size.

^^ exactly, it's a semi-pseudo central locking system. Cheap bastards couldn't add a $3 actuator to the damn drivers door.

Although kinda rare and expensive, there is also a BPT VJ-23 turbo from the GTR. I beleive boost is set around 8-9psi.

i know it'll go atleast 140mph. but there are other variables. (i.e. tire/wheel size, tire air pressure, outside wind speeds, etc...)

I'd bet it's the toe thats causing the wear, not necessarily the camber. Bad toe settings are what really shred tires, camber can wear them after a long time, but won't shred them.

On my autox Protege i run ~3* front camber with my toe set to *0* and have never had any wear issues.
