Wax before Polish?! whoa... i thought the polish was a light abbrasive to take off dirt and stuff.... then you used the wax to protect it from UV and stuff... thats what i've done with all my cars... 2 coats polish... 3 coats wax.. all by hand. takes about 2 hours... but its worth it.. damn car can ...

How much you want for it?

Hi, im pretty sure that i have a lifter problem... On cold start, the engine taps.. After it warms up. it feels like im driving on 60 Horsepower.... So.. im pretty sure it is a lifter problem.. anyways how much are we looking at in damages... you know.. to my wallet? with/without labor.. if its not ...

Gah! What need to be modified... and how so?
(DOHC), I have looked EVERYWHERE for a DOHC air intake system.. and found nothing... I don't really have a whole lot of tools at my disposal.. so im pretty limited on how i can modify it... unless you can do it with some tin sheers :p

I had basically the exact same problem... Sometimes i would come to stop.. and all my power (dash lights/headlights/radio) would die as soon as the rear breaklights engaged... Turns out it was some MAJOR corrosion on the battery terminals... I cleaned them off... but it returned a few weeks later......

I change my oil religiously every 3,000 miles... I believe when I recieved the car, it was running conventional.. I have switched it to Mobile One synthetic since then.. I did alittle searching, i've heard that possible flushing out the engine two or three times with some cheap filters and kero/gunk...

Hey, if your in dallas, you may want to check out pick-n-pull in south dallas.. I know its a long shot, but they had 2 or 3 MX-3's there... one had a transmition and engine which looked like they were in fairly good condition.. I am pretty sure that it was a '93 RS SOHC engine... so i can't see why ...

I've got a 94 rs auto too.... 1-2 gears are also hard... from what i've heard there is a way you can adjust it... but it doesn't really help it too much.. i've also heard that for the most part... the car just behaves that way... oh well!

Hi! I bought my MX-3 about 7 months ago.. i love the car.. no major problems... except this one..
