Ok, sorry to add to my own thread :P I am now assuming I only need 1 for the 4 cylinder mx-3. I was quoted $30.00 for the part at an auto parts store. I assume I just unscrew the ond one, and screw in the new one. Will I just get the sensor part? Then I just cut off the old wire off the old one, and...

How would I do that?Yoda wrote: If you have a single wire O2 convert to a 3 or 4 wire O2. The get up to operating temp faster and don't cool off are idle or at low rpm when helps to increase MPG and power even more.
Is there separate parts for front and back?
I just need a little bit more help.
Thanks.

Oxygen Sensor questions
I am not even sure I need to change my oxygen sensors, but I am getting bad gas mileage. I get about 22 mpg city. How do I know if it is the oxygen sensors? Can someone show me a url where to buy them? I checked here: http://www.partsandaccessories.com/oxygen/parts.php?make=mazda&model=mx-3&...

[WTB]Air Conditioning Relay 93 MX-3 RS
Not sure if its the same as the GS, but I need an AC relay.
It is located at the top left of the engine compartment if you are standing at the front of the car. There are 2 relays next to each other.
I need the one with B462 written on top.
Let me know.
Thanks.

Ok, well here's something odd. I disconnected a wire that looked like the right one, and tested both sides, both sides were dead. I reconnected it, and thought I'd look at the watchglass (now that I have found and cleaned it ) it filled up and it looked like the bubbles were going to go away, but it...

Ok so I checked the pressure by unscrewing the cap on the high pressure side (side with the sightglass) and pressed the valve for a split second and there was a blast of air, then I tried again, and got a blast of air again. So there is still pressure. How do I check the clutch for 12v? Is there a w...

I guess..... I was suggesting a permanent fix however but hey if you wanna temporarily fix it go ahead. But be warned if you just throw some R12 in there and it leaks out then you're gonna have to fix it anyways. And seeing as its inexpensive to upgrade to the R134a system why not do that rather th...
