Ok, sorry to add to my own thread :P I am now assuming I only need 1 for the 4 cylinder mx-3. I was quoted $30.00 for the part at an auto parts store. I assume I just unscrew the ond one, and screw in the new one. Will I just get the sensor part? Then I just cut off the old wire off the old one, and...

Do you know what is wrong with the mazda mx-3.... as apposed to the mazda3 or mazda6..hell even the miata or rx8.... the market is to small to make a good sized profit. like it says "people want to have fun driving and take their kids around....when the mx-3 was marketed it was a 4 adult passe...

Ok so of course it doesn't work now.

I jumped the relay though and the thing works fine.

I am going to try to find a relay soon, and post back with results.
