Did you loose any MPG when you switched. Is your engine a 1.6L?

I have a 93 Mx-3/ 1600 cc, with auto trans, only getting 22 MPG. O2 sensor was replaced with a bosch generic, worked on the miata I own but does it work on this MX-3? MPG has not changed. <p>What O2 sensor should I use if this one is wrong?

O2 sensor...Yaa. good point. I did replace that too, unfortunately didn't change anything either..emissions are good, 50 HC at idle, 24hc @2500rpm: CO at idle and 2500rpm below 4.<p>Tony

I just bought a 93 MX-3 with a 1600cc engine W/auto Trans(55000 miles and it's a cherry). But it only gets 22 miles to the gallon. My Mazda Miata gets 33 mpg. Doesn't seem at all right. I have replaced all the obvious things, plugs, rotor, rotor cap.wires, fuel and air filter, checked timing, exhaus...
