same EXACTthing happend to me. What u need to do is this, get some tape and wrap it around the part where the part u have stuck in your engine goes. Makes sure u have enough tape on that it is TIGHT when u put it in, it should come right out. if that doesn't work maybe even out a small strip of sand...

Took the car to a neighbor and he fixed my coolant leak(which mechanics said would cost 130) and later on we found a cracked vacuum hose and that was fixed easy enough by snipping the cracked end off.
