Doing the tue up will be good practice for you, especially if you are thinking about doing an engine swap. If you can't do the tune up, dont even think about the swap. The tune up is literally an hours worth of work. Maybe less, it will be a good chance to work on your car and learn where things are...

You can still drive your car, though you may notice the car is sluggish after awhile. And you might fail an emissions test, but im not sure. I wouldn't say it is anything that needs to be done immediatly but get it done sooner rather than later, as it may effect your fuel economy.

Hey, mine never has so that's why I was curious. But, my wiring is ALL screwed up in the car. Ive heard some stories of cars catching fire will driving due to bad wiring so thats why I havn't attempted to re-wire it myself.

I dont remember from my first mx-3(a 4cyl if it matters) But does the center console light up? Meaning the Heater/Fan area? Where the knobs are, hopefully you guys can figure out what im getting at here...

Well ive found one fro 35$ about 20 min from me, but if that doesn't work out I will let you know. This one is from a 93 also, were 93's non-ABS only?

Hmm I see. Ya my 92 isn't ABS, was wondering because I found one off a 96 for 60$CAD.

Is the master cylinder similar for all years of mx-3s? Can I put a 96 into my 92 and be ok?

As he is based in CA i'd assume american.

Also, when you goto get your new parts bring the originals with you and compare to make sure it is the same part you are getting. Ive done my breaks and NOWHERE had the right sliding things, whatever they are. I went to FIVE places and all gave me the same part. So just warning you now!
