Corrosion on battery terminal wires

Ok I did a search and could not find exactly the answer I was looking for that could help...So here goes...I am abuot to change my negative and positive wires on my battery terminals, because they are stock and corroded from in side the plastic sleeve, and on the terminals...my question is has anyon...

Here's the delima....I went to a junk yard today, and was looking for MX-3 parts, and what did I walk by, a 1996 Mazda Millenia with I think is a KLDE...it definitely isnt a K8 with with a smooth looking IM(and form what I understand MX-3 "only" rocks the K8)...but i asked the guy how much...

Lower compression,....Hmmm...it may take longer for me to get, but I think I am gonna go ZE...more of a sleeper look in the engine bay, and wont need all the piping and hoses for a turbo, or super charger...the average person won't expect a MX-3 to peel the way a KLZE does, if I take it to a track. ...

Thanks alot man...I am looking into doing an engine swap, and didnt know whether to go ZE, or DE. I have found that DE's are less expsensive than the ZE's.

Millenia Vs. J-spec KL-ZE

I hear that the Millenia engine is somehere at like 165hp, and the j-spec KL-ZE is at 200hp...what is it, in the Millenia engine that loses those extra 40 horses the KLZE has?
